With that fiery allusion, Staten Island resident and registered Democrat Zach Emig launched his
campaign to unseat Rep. Dan Donovan (NY-11) in the 2018 midterm elections. Zach’s campaign
team filed the necessary paperwork with the FEC on Friday the 5th, and they unveiled his
bilingual campaign website, zachemig2018.com, today.
Zach’s campaign will push a strong progressive agenda focused on getting more money into
the wallets of the working and middle classes, fortifying labor rights, delivering on the
progressive vision of universal healthcare, and defending voting rights and the institutions of
democracy. His website, zachemig2018.com, lays out his progressive policies, and includes his
pledge to hold twelve public townhalls a year across the district.
“Cowardice inspires no one,” Zach notes dryly, perhaps alluding to the incumbent’s refusal to
hold a single public townhall. He chose a campaign theme of “Fearless” to reflect his eagerness
